Zone 1 PCA Events

Zone 1 hosts specific events in addition to the hundreds of events put on by the 17 Regions within Zone 1 and those put on by the PCA National organization. The National events such as Parade, Tech Tactics and many others, are not to be missed. Be sure to check out www.pca.org for the complete list of events.

2025 Zone 1 Autocross Weekend
Devens Airfield, Ayer, MADate: August 23-24, 2024
A whole weekend of Autocross at Devens Airfield that provides a hard-to-beat venue with its excellent 0.8 mile course set-up in a rural location. The length of the course and the high number of runs make it perfect for beginners to develop their car control skills, while experienced Autocrossers battle to reduce their run times and win as the fastest in their class.

But it’s not just the challenge and fun of zooming around those cones, it’s the social time in between and at the Saturday night barbecue, where you’ll enjoy great company among Autocrossers from all over Zone 1.

This year's event is a two-day event consisting of a different course each day. PCA's Parade Competition Rules (PCR's have been modified for the classification of cars for this event and can be found on the registration page). Entrants must compete both days in order to trophy. There will be a team challenge for all participants with awards for the winning team Registration opens 8:00 am sharp, first car off approximately 9:15 am both days. All participants must be current PCA members. We have opened this event to members driving cars other than Porsches. No SUVs besides Macans and Cayennes. Registration closes on 9/3/2024 and there will be no registration on the day of the event. For more information, please download this information sheet.

Zone 1 Club Race: “Clash at the Glen”
Watkins Glen, NY
Date: 6/14/2024 – 6/16/2024
If you’re a PCA racer, Watkins Glen has got to be on your bucket list of tracks to drive. If you’ve driven it before, don’t miss this chance to come back to improve your times and win on this track where great racers such as Jack Brabham, Stirling Moss and Dan Gurney found glory.

Maybe it’s the sheer joy of racing on this superb, well-maintained track with its thrilling elevation changes, or imagining they are running with Mario Andretti, Jacky Ickx or Derek Bell, that brings out over 250 racers from all over the USA and Canada to make this Zone 1 Club Race the largest on the PCA Club Racing circuit. PCA members are welcome to attend and perhaps consider how they may make the transition from Driver Education to Club Racing.

Friday will begin the weekend with a full day of race practice and Fun Races/Practice Starts. Saturday will feature 2 Sprint Races for all classes in four race groups. Immediately following the last race, there will be an optional Social Hour with open bar, Dinner, Raffle, and Race Awards Announcements in the Watkins Glen Media Center.

On Sunday, following the morning warm-up sessions, we will have 3 – 60 minute Enduro races that will run back-to-back through the normal Watkins Glen lunch hour. This will allow for maximum participation with no refueling and drivers being able to do the whole Enduro with or without a co-driver or team support. The change also makes for an earlier finish and the ability to get home at a more reasonable time. Tentatively the last Enduro race will end at 12:45 PM with the Pirelli Awards ceremony at 1:00 PM.

Early Registration and hotel reservations are recommended (registration usually opens in April).

Visit the Zone 1 website at http://zone1.pca.org or http://register.pca.org for more details.

2025 Boardwalk Reunion
Location: Ocean City, NJ
Date: October 18, 2025
Our website is boardwalkreunion.org for updates on the 2025 Boardwalk Reunion.

Boardwalk Reunion welcomes all Porsche models. In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Targa body style, all 911, 912, and 914 Targas will be our featured cars this year. But whatever the year and model of your Porsche, bring it out for the world to admire on Ocean City’s spectacular Boardwalk!

This exciting event brings hundreds of Porsches to ‘America’s Greatest Family Resort’ on the South Jersey shore. Boardwalk Reunion is more than just a laid back cars and coffee on the Boards - it’s a unique opportunity to drive up onto and display your Porsche on one of New Jersey’s most iconic Boardwalks against an ocean backdrop that is simply spectacular. You’ll be able to meet and socialize with Porsche owners from across the Mid-Atlantic, and savor Ocean City at its most beautiful and peaceful time of the year. We’ll marshal at Ocean City’s Municipal Airport at 10 AM, depart an hour later under police escort, and then park and hang out on the mile-long Boardwalk until 4:00 PM. Many Boardwalk shops and eateries will be open, and the pristine beaches are just on the other side of the boardwalk railing. A social at one of the New Jersey shore’s most historic hotels- the charming Flanders Hotel, where there will be a reserved weekend room block for attendees. Registration fees will be minimal and announced at a later date- we would like everyone to enjoy this event for what it is: a low-key Porsche gathering “Down the Shore” at Ocean City at the height of Autumn.
